New Autoblog WordPress SEO Theme Features
New SEO ad theme feature for Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin users.
I’m currently working on version 6 of my SEO ad theme (which will no longer be called Talian, got a new brand name: Stallion SEO Theme).
Since I have hundreds of customers running the Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin I’ve added an SEO feature just for them in the next release.
Every autoblog plugin I’ve looked at including the Massive Passive Profits Plugin uses nofollow attributes for affiliate links. This used to be a good idea for preventing affiliate links wasting link benefit (I used nofollow extensively), but Google no longer honors what nofollow used to do: it used to conserve link benefit now it deletes it!!!!
With your average autoblog plugin page to an Amazon product it can generate anywhere from 2 to over half a dozen nofollow affiliate links (all deleting link benefit). This means every page generated by an autoblog plugin wastes the link benefit of 2+ links, multiply that by a 1,000 page autoblog and you can see it’s a LOT of wasted link benefit!
I’ve added a new feature to version 6 of the SEO ad theme that when the Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin is installed you’ll have the option to ‘hide’ your affiliate links from search engines (Google).
The plugin links already have basic redirection type cloaking (though Google can easily follow these and see the link goes to Amazon etc…). Now with a tick of a box and click of a mouse button (two mouse clicks) all your affiliate links will be removed from Google’s sight.
Not only are affiliate links one of the major thin affiliate footprints that search engine spiders like Google use to find and downgrade autoblog sites, but also the wasted link benefit to affiliate/nofollow links is wasted. Two major SEO issues with autoblogs solved.
This is a very cool feature, I’ve been using this SEO technique for months on autoblogs and thin affiliate test sites and they are tending to do better than their nofollow/normal affiliate link counterparts. Before I knew the Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin even existed I’d been testing another popular autoblog plugin and had had to rewrite all the modules to achieve this level of SEO and it meant when the plugin updated I had to spend an hour editing the new module files (it’s a real pain)!
The new theme feature will work on new autoblogs and old. This means if you have an autoblog site today with 10,000 posts with say 30,000 nofollow/affiliate links, with a few clicks of the mouse those links will no longer be ‘seen’ by search engines.
By not wasting link benefit your sites pages will tend to rank better overall and by hiding the affiliate links footprint you’ve increased the chances your autoblogs will last longer before Google etc… downgrades them for thin affiliate content.
Put it this way, if your average autoblog is downgraded by Google in a year, if you can extend that period on average by 6 months you do less work replacing downgraded sites. AKA more money for less effort.

Stallion SEO WordPress Theme New Features
Stallion SEO Ad Theme Version 6 will Replace Talian 5
As many of my long term Talian theme users know I’m working on version 6 of Talian and when it’s released it will be rebranded (makes it easier to sell via Clickbank: needed a new domain for Clickbank promotion).
The new theme will be called Stallion SEO Ad Theme and will start at version 6 and take the place of Talian 5 (don’t worry all Talian 3, 4 and 5 customers receive a free update of Stallion 6 upon it’s release).
It’s a work in progress, but Stallion 6 is well under way and I’m running it on the new Stallion SEO Themes Website.
I’ve started adding posts about the new features of Stallion 6 and will be using the site as both the Stallion SEO Ad Theme sales site and documentation/support site for customers (open comments on all pages). All the site is for is Stallion 6 theme features and issues etc…
It’s impossible to show all features on one site, can’t have banners turned on and off on the same site for example, but you can see a few of the new features.
It’s running the new white colour scheme with the new header image active (work in progress, need to create some decent header images) that’s behind the head area.
The blogs tagline can either be shown in the header or the footer area (set for footer on the Stallion site) and the head search box can now be turned off (built a better search widget for a sidebar as a replacement). Not coded yet, but this gives space for having an ad in the header (when coded I’ll turn it on for that site).
All ads can now be turned off/on separately via the options pages (an options page for AdSense and another page for Clickbank ads).
For the autobloggers out there who don’t want to be messing around with adding AdSense and Clickbank ids on multiple option pages they are all still located on a single page with the optional settings on the other options pages.
Also for the autobloggers there’s a new feature that adds SEO optimization to the output of the Massive Passive Profits Autoblog Plugin. Affiliate links are hidden and thin affiliate footprints are hidden.
Today I got two plugins (installed with Stallion 6, no extra setup) working together to add titles to comments and use those comment titles as the title of the comment pages generated by the SEO Super Comments plugin. This means your visitors can generate unique titles for your comments (you can also edit them) which will be used as the title of the comment pages: there’s no comments on the Stallion site yet, but the ability to add comment titles is active.
Lots more features to document, so better get back to work :-)

Stallion WordPress SEO Theme Update
I normally test a major theme update (and Stallion 6 is a massive update) for a month on my own sites before releasing the updated theme and this has resulted in never having a major issue.
This time plan to update all my sites, check them a few days (I have 70+ WordPress installations with all sorts of setups) and if no issues will release to all current Talian 5 customers explaining it’s not gone through my normal extended testing period.
Any issues reported will be fixed after which I’ll stop selling Talian 5 and switch to Stallion 6 sales only. I’ll manually email Stallion 6 to the Talian 5 customers in the ‘testing’ period.
This will give those who want to try the new features ASAP a chance to do so and those who want to wait to be sure there’s no issues the option to use/keep using Talian 5.
BTW for anyone thinking of holding off buying Talian 5 waiting for Stallion 6 release before ordering be aware the price is going up quite a bit.
Talian 5 is by far the best WordPress SEO theme available today (it’s that good I’ve offered $500 for anyone who can show me a better SEO WordPress theme), but ad wise and layout wise it’s not the best available (there was a lot that could be improved).
Stallion 6 SEO is actually better than Talian 5 (surprised myself I could improve on the SEO) and ad wise it’s a MAJOR improvement. I’m not sure I can get away with calling it the best WordPress ad theme available, but it’s certainly competing with anything else available (you’ll understand when you try it). After I release Stallion 6 will have to take some time to compare to other ad themes see if any are better in some areas and if so improve Stallion 6 again.
The layout options are also significantly improved, there are many more layout options in Stallion, for example added a new set of widgets above the footer today and next will be working on placement of the main sidebars. I’ve a lot more features planned for the theme layout as well (layout is an area where thee are almost unlimited setup possibilities, just a matter of coding them in).
You can see some of the new features at the Stallion SEO Theme website.
I wouldn’t advise running a site with the above ad settings, I’ve turned on as many ads as I could (some ads can be moved around, like the top AdSense ad and bottom Chitika ad can be switched) so couldn’t add them all. I think there’s currently 18 ads showing on the home page, AdSense, Chitika and Clickbank ads, even with all those options and ads and some plugins running the page required just “48 queries in 0.472 seconds”.
Every ad can be turned on/off independently from a new options page (each ad system has it’s own options page now), each ad can have it’s dimensions set independently and various other attributes all from the 7 options pages (Talian 5 has one options page).
In future updates I plan to give style updates that make Stallion look like other themes. For example Blix has been quite popular on this site so I’ll probably make a Stallion addon that looks a lot like Blix.
This makes the Talian 5 price significantly undervalued for Stallion 6, so the price is going up.

Changing WordPress Themes Keeping the Same Look?
Quick favour please David.
Am using Talian 5 on an Massive Passive Profits site. All OK with that.
Also have another site using a WordPress theme that I can’t get any support for and which is preventing a key javascript from working.
SO..
..I’d like, well need, to change my theme and what I’d like to know is, in your valued opinion, will Talian 6 allow me to reproduce, as near as possible, what is on this site please
I know Talian offers so much in terms of Clickbank and Adsense etc but if I can get a similar look and feel of my existing sites in Talian 6 I know that I’ll be able to use it for some other ideas I have as your support is second to none.
Many thanks David.
regards
Nigel
Changing WordPress Themes Keeping the Same Look?
SEO WordPress Theme Designs
Interesting question about WordPress theme designs.
Stallion 6 is of course a different theme, so you won’t get exactly the same look/feel/design, but some things can be made similar.
I assume that’s a custom header image, with Stallion 6 you can add custom header images so that will be easy enough to achieve. You can see two header examples at Stallion Theme (one of the 25 built in Stallion header images).
Biggest issue would be the sidebars. Stallion currently has two ~200px wide sidebars, in the theme you are using you have one 250-300px wide sidebar. I’ve rewritten Stallion 6 so in the future I can create a single sidebar version, it’s on the list of things for Stallion 6.1 (will be working on the next update probably in March).
Currently your 125px wide image ads won’t work the same way as you have them now, 2 x 125px is 250px wide sidebar, so you’d be limited to one 125px wide ad at a time.
Didn’t have a long look through your site, but looks like you have a fair number of affiliate links that are nofollow (nofollow deletes link benefit). In Stallion 6 you’ll be able to hide affiliate links from search engines so they don’t waste link benefit.

Stallion Flexible WordPress Theme
Thanks David.
I can live with one sidebar and I don’t necessarily have to have the 125 x 125 ads as they are so it’s looking good.
I know you are introducing huge flexibility into Stallion so am looking forward to using it. V 6.1 with single sidebar will be perfect.
Thanks
Nigel
PS – Reading one of your posts last night I see where you have picked the name Stallion for your theme. Thought you’d moved on from the adult market!
Stallion Flexible WordPress Theme
Stallion is a Male Horse that has not been Gelded
Funny guy hey :-)
Got the name Stallion by looking for derivatives of Talian. Added an S to Talian gave STalian, so used Stallion.
From Wikipedia:
Perfect as the Stallion theme compared to other so called SEO themes would be comparing a stallion to a gelding (dickless male horse :-)).
Now you’ve dragged me down to your level of thinking :-)

Adult Toy AdSense Ads
Knew there had to be a rational explanation David.
My comment was based on the fact that Google Adsense had put an image of an adult toy on your site!!
Off to test Talian 5 on one of my sites.

Stallion WP SEO Theme Layouts
Hi David.
What’s the latest position re Stallion release please?
Am waiting to change a couple of my sites but as you previously explained Talian and Stallion are totally different so I want to start with Stallion WP SEO theme.
Also you mentioned a few posts back about a single column version of Stallion, possibly in March. I read somewhere on your site that you said it will probably have a 300 wide single sidebar and support widgets. If so this will be perfect to convert a couple of my other sites as well.
Is this 300 wide single bar version still on your radar?
Getting impatient for Stallion now as we all know how good Talian is!
Thanks
Nigel

Stallion WP SEO Theme Updates
Stallion release is almost ready, the codes done, working on the ordering system. Have to import old customers details into the ordering system (so they can activate Stallion) and it’s causing a few headaches.
Assuming no more problems I should release within a week. Will be no readme files with Stallion 6, going to put all the readme info on the new Stallion site and not started that yet. Hoping for the short term I’ve added enough info on the options pages for the average user to get by until I write the full tutorials.
The single sidebar version is on the list of things to do for next update which I’ll start work on a few weeks after releasing Stallion 6.
I’ve laid the hard ground work for different sidebar layouts (needed to rewrite the CSS and the template code: was a real pain to crack as well) so it’s just a matter of creating new CSS files and maybe small template file tweaks to add that as a feature.
I’ve added a load of new features to Stallion compared to Talian, you can have ads almost anywhere including custom ads using the WordPress widget system.
