Extra tab where the page tabs display?
How do I remove the WP page tab that has the name of my site on it. It appears before the contact page and other pages.
This might be simple to someone that knows how to edit within the .php files but it is a little foggy to me. I can remove the code if I know where to find it :)

WordPress Theme Home Page Menu Link
As you are running Talian 05 it’s easy to achieve through the Talian options menu.
Find the setting “Home Page Link On/Off”
Tick the “Home Navigation Link OFF” radio button and “Save Options”.
That will remove the home page link on the navigation menu.

Update to Talian 05 Theme?

I bought your talian 05 theme in Sep, 2010. Works excellent.
Does any new version come out after that so I can download?

If you have Talian 5 you have the latest version. Working on an update now and it’s a major update, so warrants a version 6 :-)
Also going to rename the theme (for branding reasons) and work on different looks that won’t resemble Talian too much.
Already have over 80 settings on the admin options page (Talian 5 has 40 odd options).
The next version will include on the options page (these are already coded in) the ability to turn on/off all 6 AdSense ads, set if they are text, image or both ad types all independently (currently requires editing the adsense.php file).
Set Clickbank keywords site wide (via a comma separated list of keywords) or leave as automatic (current option).
At least one new theme colour (it’s a plain theme look). Have also moved more of the font colours CSS code from the main style.css file to the custom CSS files (makes it easier to edit further and make the theme look more unique).
Ability to include as well as exclude (currently can only exclude) pages from the top navigation menu, plus add your own links (to any site/page) from the navigation menu. This pretty much gives full control over the navigation menu from having nothing on it to only custom links and everything in between.
New Advanced SEO Settings:
Turn best SEO title off for those who want the title element format (for a more branded site):

Disable the automated meta description and meta keywords tags for those that use SEO plugins like the All In One SEO Pack Plugin (currently using the above plugin with Talian 5 results in double meta tags, not a big deal as meta tags have little value, but still…).
Disable links with the format added to comments from being turned into clickable links (currently requires a plugin to achieve this, this is an option now).
Clean the head code of up to 14 WordPress hooks including:
wp_generator
wp_shortlink_wp_head
start_post_rel_link
adjacent_posts_rel_link_wp_head
index_rel_link
etc…
There’s a lot of code in the head of a WordPress site that’s not really needed, now it can be removed.
Also finally found a solution to the nofollow attribute added to the Reply to comment links. Just weeks from the WordPress 3.1 release (which fixes this problem) I find a solution, typical :-)
Have more features to add before the release next year.
Our eldest son is at home from University (studying computer science: plans to be a computer programmer) for Christmas and have him helping me out with some coding problems :-) He’s a lot better at PHP coding than I am, I spent a couple of hours trying to solve a bug today, he solved it in a couple of minutes!

Talian 5 is over due an update.
Talian 5 works with WordPress 3.3.1, one minor CSS Talian options page issue, the footer isn’t placed correctly when you load the Talian options page, has no impact on the site (plan to fix in the next update: minor issue, missing closing div on the options page).
Technical support available here via comments (preferred), by email (email address available to customers) and some also use my Stallion WordPress SEO Theme site because a lot of Talian customers also use Stallion and tend to consider them the same even though they aren’t (yet, see later).
No known caching plugin issues, I use WP Super Cache on my sites and have had no reports of issues with other caching plugins.
No money back guarantee with Talian 5, there is a 60 day money back guarantee with Stallion which is the next version of Talian, kind of: lots of new features in Stallion, but it’s based on Talian (Talian has less than 50 options, Stallion has over 250 options).
Working on the Stallion 6.3 update now. After it’s released I’m updating Talian to use the Stallion 6.* ‘engine’ which will take Talian straight to Talian v6.3.
Talian v6.3 will have all the features of Stallion 6.3 minus the non-Talian colour schemes (about 1/3rd of the colours) and some of the image sets. All Talian customers will be entitled to a free update. Talian 6.* will be updated with all future Stallion 6.* features, but no new colour schemes which will warrant the lower price.
This will give customers who only want to use the Talian look access to the new Stallion features at a lower cost. I’ll be upgrading other themes on this site the same ways, all colour schemes will be added to Stallion so if you want the greatest choice of colours you’ll want to buy Stallion.
Probably get Talian 6.3 ready for release in about 6 weeks from now, working on some interesting new Stallion features like category templates (same concept as static page templates, but for categories).

Hi David, I bought talian theme for massive passive profits plugin but I discontinued it, I now want to install it on multi-wordpress, at present I don’t have my adsense ID which I am waiting for, do I have to use adsense or can I replace it with clickbank ads, I also tried to log in to your pages but I forgot my password, and I am not sure which web address I used.

Yes you can use Clickbank ads instead of AdSense ads with Talian, both are built into Talian.
There isn’t a membership section to this website, so no way to login, guess you are confusing this site for another one.

I would love to have the Talian theme. Currently I am using a Free theme and want to upgrade to a good and professional looking theme. Also I am quite new with blogging and would like to know if I can get help from the designers of the theme in case I want some design modifications etc.

If you mean pointing you in the right direction to achieve something like how do I make the text bigger or a different colour, generally yes (within reason).
If you mean make major code changes and help you with the code changes, no.
If you want my most flexible theme it’s the Stallion WordPress SEO Theme. In the next update (releasing soon) every post and page can have a different layout, colour scheme, image sets… and it’s fully compatible with the WordPress Child Theme concept which is ideal for making modifications without having to modify the main theme files: when you make code changes to a themes files it’s a pain to make updates, child themes makes it far less painful.

Talian Mobile Responsive WordPress Theme?
Hi David,
Since many sites receive quite good amount of mobile visits – Have you thought about making future Talian a mobile responsive design theme (where the layout shifts depending on the device / viewport)?
Still to be checked if there’s a good way to serve up AdSense (and other ads) on a responsive design site, and still maintain a good user experience, avoid click fraud (unnecessary clicks) and stay inside TOS.
It shouldn’t be a hard work and it requires some changes in the css to make the width of the theme responsive.
