I’ve been developing WordPress SEO themes for so long that the vast majority of SEO features I use are built into the Stallion Responsive theme (best WordPress SEO theme available) because so few WordPress plugin developers get the SEO spot on. Basically I find an interesting plugin or code hack and adapt it to exactly what I want and add it to my SEO theme, been working this way for over half a decade so my SEO theme includes a lot of SEO features from various plugins and code snippets I’ve found over the years. Occasionally I stumble on a WordPress plugin that’s either perfect SEO wise and so requires no modification and/or is so well supported by the plugin […]

WordPress SEO Tips for Beginners
I have been tinkering with websites lately for the first time in over 10 years. A lot has changed and as I build and learn and am constantly scouring the net to find simplicity in this overcomplicated world…. I found you! Answer to my prayers!
Thank you for existing and taking the complications out of an otherwise pretty simple (cut and dry) process in site building! I have toured SEO till I wanted to poke myself in the juggler with a rusty chainsaw. Played with All in One, Platinum, Yoast and yes even the new almighty SEOpressor….As I played with each one I sought out instructions on what might be the best settings and ways to use each one – THAT SUCKED! (pardon my tongue)
And then there was you! Thank You kind Sir! For just being you, first off. and for writing in a way that gives life back its simplicity – Thank you thank you thank you! You are so Super Duper and when the economy comes back and my career returns I will buy from you first. just for all that you give in the free world to us poor half-educated site building dreamers. You give me my vision back..and hope grew a bit bigger in stumbling upon you and yours. Keep up the good work and Cheers to you!

Copyfeed Plugin
I’m getting an alert from Website defender that my Copyfeed plugin needs to be updated.
Copyfeed WordPress Plugin SEO
If you use the plugin authors update it will overwrite the SEO changes I made to the Copyfeed code of the version on this page.
When I get some time will check if the update is important, I have the current version working fine in WordPress 3.2.1

Too Many WordPress Plugins
A mistake mostly by newbies is installing too many plugins instead of installing just the correct plugins as you have mentioned.
Privacy Policy Plugin
If anyone has a many websites would there be any value to have an automatic privacy policy page created in the theme?
I saw a privacy policy plugin, I just redo it for all my website manually.
WordPress Privacy Policy Plugins
That’s on my list of to look into.

Favicon WordPress Plugin
I had the latest Stallion WordPress SEO Theme installed on one of my multisite, works fine except for the built-in favicon plugin.
It’s not showing anywhere in the theme setting options.
I have added “ico” to the allowed file types property on the “Super Admin -> Options” page but still it’s not showing. Is there any issue for certain plugin to work with wordpress multisite setup? Please advise. Thanks.

Under Stallion Colour Options have you ticked
Stallion Favicons ON
When on a new Stallion options page “Stallion Favicon” is added to the Stallion options pages.
Under the new options page you can select and upload favicons, shouldn’t be any need to add “ico” to the allowed file types, it works as is.
Most Stallion features that add something additional to the output (what your visitors see) of a site is off by default, when new features are added you have to turn them on.
After the next update (another big one) I’ll be working on new tutorials. Currently working on the ability to select a Layout and Colour scheme on a post by post basis. So you could have any post use any of the built in layouts and colour schemes (if I get the code working).
