Update: It’s been roughly 15 months since I used the 1 hr Xbox 360 Repair Guide to fix my sons broken Xbox 360 and to date he’s had no issues with his games console. Now he wants me to buy him an Xbox 360 Elite, I don’t see the point while his current Xbox 360 is fully working? I’m not one for upgrading a games console for the sake of upgrading. RROD on Elite Xbox 360!
I just got the rrod last night on my elite. The 3yr warranty expires on 03/22/10 so im screwed(coincidence?).
I just requested a repair online and havent yet received my service request number yet either.I would think microsoft would have automatic emails, not done completely by humans.
They are probably going take their sweet time emailing me the shipping labels. Hopefully there will be a record of the requested date.Even the website didnt work properly, kept getting errors when requesting.
Finally worked when i was about to talk to customer service on the phone.
Im really leaning towards a ps3.
