Comment on WordPress SEO Tutorial 2014 301 Redirects by SEO Dave.

WordPress SEO 301 Redirects I use WordPress on around 70 domains and it works fine on my sites.

Your code looks fine, most of my WordPress sites .htaccess file looks like this:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.domain.co.uk$
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.co.uk/$1 [R=301,L]
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress

Which is basically the same as yours.

If you load http://domain.co.uk it immediately redirects to http://www.domain.co.uk.

This assumes you are on a Linux server.
