Yes, now I see the NYT wasn’t the best example to what I want, but only to show how they try hard to put some widgets inside the content.
I am still working to add this “nifty” code block and placing the right sidebar inside it –
What I am not sure is whether this new layout you suggested –
Head
Left Sidebar
Main Content
Right Sidebar
Footer
will have some SEO implications, because the source code will list the left sidebar content before the main content.
((Probably the reason for the current layout is to keep the main content above the other stuff – I know the SEO power of the Tallian/Stallion)).
