Comment on Squirrly WordPress SEO Review by George.

Squirrly SEO Review rel=”nofollow” means you don’t endorse a link, so I’m not sure how that’s “damaging”. There are many services/products that I need to link to when writing reviews and the nofollow attribute makes perfect sense. Also, linking out arbitraily to “authority” sites like Wikipedia is standard practice for blackhat plugins (which Squirrly is dangerously close to being) and they do it because it works. It’s a way to fake being connected to the web and placing your own content within a larger semantic context beyond your own site.
