Recently started trading shares again and currently using an HSBC share trading account. I’ve been banking with HSBC bank since University, had my current account for over twenty years: yep I’m a loyal customer. Whilst at University I traded penny shares with my student loan (£850) so we could afford to rent a property off Uni, the first mining share I bought (at 4p a share: and can’t for the life of me remember the name of the stock) over doubled in price within a week, so everything worked out great. Share Trading Risks We moved off University and continued to trade, but went for the more risky traded options (a share derivative) and to cut a long story short […]
Watched the CH4 program How to Be a Billionaire that gave a glimpse into the world of three billionaires Michael Birch, Dmitry Itskov and Naveen Jain. Did a little research with Google and the How to Be a Billionaire Reviews are trashing the billionaire entrepreneurs ideas. What exactly did you think an hour long TV program from CH4 is going to ‘teach’ us, actually how to become a billionaire? At around the age of 13-14 I also sold the scratch lottery tickets door to door and would make a few quid a week, that was my first experience of earning […]
Updated the Britain Attracts Foreign Investors and Entrepreneurs in April 2014 with up to date infographic like images. Read a very interesting news article today on Reuters news about Britain lures talent: sci-tech entrepreneurs move in. In the UK we’ve had years of very negative attitudes regarding immigration, with a lot of the working class believing inward immigration is damaging the British economy. Every day the right-wing newspapers are filled with anti-immigration stories from foreign prisoners the UK can’t get rid of to immigrants ONLY moving to Britain to claim welfare benefits. Lots of Brits believe “immigrants are taking their jobs” for example! There’s a LOT of negativity towards foreigners in the UK and I’m sure it will have an […]
