WordPress Post Excerpts?
Currently, I have the first page of my main site with only a partial showing of the article, video or whatever it may be. Then you have to click on the link to show the full post, etc.
How can I fix that?
It is driving me absolutely crazy.
Plus is there any way to have more than 1 article, etc showing on the 1st page?
I do have sub-domains through MPP.

Do you mean it’s only showing an excerpt of posts on archive pages like the home page?
If so that’s an SEO feature to reduce duplicate content issues. You can use a plugin called the Post Teaser plugin, free download at WordPress SEO Plugins that allows you to add richer content to the archive pages. There’s also the auto thumbnail settings under the Stallion Options Advanced SEO page that can add richer content if you don’t want to use the plugin.
By default you’ll have 10 post excerpts showing on the archive pages, unless your site only has one post or you’ve selected 1 as the number of posts to show on an archive page or you’ve selected a static page as the home page. Looking at your site looks like you’ve set the number of posts to show to 1.
“Settings >> Reading” is where the settings are for this sort of thing, sounds like you’ve been changing them and not realised what they do :-)

My blog is in total mess after I set up MPP. All the posts that are auto generated by Massive Passive Profits are not showing on full post url.
I couldn’t figure out what is the problem?
Is it the theme which I use Stallion or the Massive Passive Profits Plugin?
I have submitted a help ticket to MPP, and waiting for reply, thought you might have some ideas. Could you please take a look at my blog, I really need some help.

WordPress Permalinks Broken?
Sounds like your permalinks wasn’t setup correctly, if you’ve moved hosts that can happen.
Make sure the .htaccess rules are correct or rebuild them via the permalinks settings page.

WordPress Theme Upload Too Big
I cannot load Stallion theme to new wordpress 3.1 it only allows a file size of 1 meg. stallion is 3.2 meg , what can be done?

WordPress PHP File Upload Size Set Too Low
That’s a hosting setting, if they have it set too low (2mb seems to be popular) you can’t use the WordPress built in theme editor with the Stallion zip file.
Two solutions.
Contact your host and ask them to increase the PHP upload size to 5MB.
Or use FTP (Filezilla for example) to upload the extracted /stallion-seo-theme/ folder to /wp-content/themes/ folder on your server. I wrote detailed instructions for using FTP to upload Talian 5 at SEO Talian Theme Installation Using FTP or WordPress Theme Installer, replace Stallion for Talian and it’s the same procedure.
Make sure you use the latest 6.0.1 Stallion zip file, the first release (6.0) didn’t work when uploaded by FTP on some hosts.

I’m going to upgrade my Talian 05 to your new Stallion 06. I’m also using MPP autoblog plugin and I’ve experimented with my site differently than most and instead of creating an auto blog site I created a information site with numerous categories.
Public Beware has been in the number 1 and 2 position on google search results for the past 6 years and now that google has just changed to a new algorithm it’s no where to be found. I think google is now viewing my site as a “content farm” and that’s just my opinion. However, is it possible to make my home page a static page with WP and then link to the new Stallion pages?

Google Bans AutoBlogs
I’m afraid it’s a risk you take if you add an autoblog plugin to a popular website. I’d never do that myself or recommend taking the risk as it’s only a matter of time before Google finds the auto blog content and downgrade the site (possibly the entire domain).
If it’s a site that was making money before adding the autoblog content I’d suggest removing all of the copied content and submit a re-inclusion request with Google admitting you’ve made a mistake. You might be one of the lucky ones.
You can use the built in static page feature of WordPress, though it still shows the sidebars etc… like you see on this site (go to this sites home page and you’ll see it has a static page not multiple archived posts).
To set this up go to Settings >> Reading.
Good luck with getting the Google penalty removed.

Do you recommend to use “Web Traffic Genius” and “WP Syndicator” plugins?
And any ideas about why “related posts” plugin doesn’t work in subdomains?

Network Activate WordPress Theme
Hi David,
I am using mpp autoblog plugin and working with multiple sites.
How to network activate Stallion? I am using last WP. In appearance > themes there is no any network activate options. I need to activate manually for every site (if I have 100 of them?) and then I also have to input transaction id and adjust the whole thing from start.
Is there a possibility to use the same theme settings as for the main domain?

If you’ve gone through the Massive Passive Profits Plugin instructions you’ll have found the Blog Template Plugin Bill McRea recommends you use for setting up your MPP autoblog sub-domains.
Not wrote a specific tutorial for Stallion, but did for Talian and it’s pretty much the same procedure.

How to Clone WordPress?
Looks like “New blog template” doesn’t work with WP 3.1.1.
I remember it worked with previous versions of WP when MPP was just launched. Also it needed some additional stuff to set up.
So it was good but not ideal. There is should be some way of cloning the sub blog through ftp based on my sample blog which is already set up.
Could you, David, please advise how to do that?
Otherwise a huge work should be done if I need to setup tens of subblogs – from entering transaction ID and adsense information in Stallion to other fine tuning stuff.

I don’t run Multisite WordPress on any live sites and currently don’t have a WordPress 3.1.1 development site with Multisite installed.
Just tested the Blog Template Plugin on the nightly bleeding edge version of WordPress 3.2 Multisite and it works fine. Bleeding edge is what WordPress developers are working on now for the WordPress 3.2 release which isn’t at alpha release yet (WordPress 3.1.1 is current stable build).
Unlikely it works in WordPress 3.2 bleeding edge and not WordPress 3.1.1.
Anyone running the Blog Template Plugin on WordPress 3.1.1 please stand up, please stand up :-)
