There are similar colour schemes and image sets built into Stallion Responsive (images in the free Stallion Responsive child theme).

Last chance to buy the Stallion Responsive WordPress SEO Package https://stallion-theme.co.uk/stallion-responsive-theme/ at the bargain price of $100 before it increases to $500 on 10th September (7 days left to buy). I originally planned to increase the price on the 1st, but Godaddy screwed up on increasing the number of emails I could send a day to this new mailing list, so think only the 1st 1,000 members received my two earlier emails which meant I had to delay this message until now!

If you missed the earlier mailing list messages I’m manually archiving them at https://stallion-theme.co.uk/mailing-list/ as comments.

Google Performance and Usability SEO 2015

No SEO package comes close to what Stallion Responsive offers, not only is it perfect for SEO today it’s ready for where Google SEO appears to be heading in 2015: higher priority to SEO performance and usability metrics.

Want an insight into what Google looks set to consider important check your domain in Google’s PageSpeed Insights Tool: http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstallion-theme.co.uk%2F&tab=desktop

The above is Google’s own tool, they are giving webmasters the tools and information for better rankings.

Recently Google announced running a secure site (means with a URL starting httpS:// note the S) will be given a small ranking boost. This is a new usability metric, sites with SSL certificates are less likely to result in users having their data stolen etc… Google is going way beyond just finding content for it’s users, now they want webmasters to provide a good experience as well. Even though my sites don’t have anything that requires an SSL certificate, I’ll be switching to https by the end of the year for all important domains for the small ranking boost.

If not in the green for the PageSpeed Insights Tool I suggest you fix it before Google add these new SEO metrics into a future Google algorithm. Remember Google Panda and how it hit so many webmasters? Google warned us way in advance what they planned for the future with Panda and most webmasters did not listen: with Panda the warning were far more subtle than the warning we have now with the insights tool above. The current Google warning is clear cut: take performance and usability into account ASAP.

Don’t make the same mistake for when Google rolls these new SEO metrics out in a big way.
