The Facebook widget doesn’t have inputs as such, it automatically tracks activity on the site so if you have a site that a lot of people link to via Facebook the Facebook widget will be full/active. If you have a new site the Facebook widget will be empty.
After using the widget for a while I didn’t find it helpful so removed it from my sites.
