Comment on SEO AdSense WordPress Theme by Erik.
Dave–I love the new Stallion theme, having been a user of your themes since Talian 4 I am excited about all the new changes you have implemented. You have clearly put in a ton of work on this one and looks like you’ve knocked it out of the park.
One question I did have though–I was thinking about picking up the Expander plugin it looks great, however is there any chance it might be questionable as to Google’s TOS?
Not to be a pain but I just had a look at the Program Policies again and found these paragraphs, don’t know if Google would consider the expanding motion as ‘pop-up’ (I don’t, but I’m not them) or questionable for any of these issues (ie the bit on “standard behavior, targeting or delivery of ads…”):
Ad Behavior
AdSense code may not be altered, nor may the standard behavior, targeting or delivery of ads be manipulated in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google. For instance, clicking Google ads may not result in a new browser window being launched.
Ad Placement
Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements and ad formats. However, AdSense code may not be placed in inappropriate places such as pop-ups, emails or software. Publishers must also adhere to the policies for each product used.
I’m sure you’ve considered this but would be great to hear anything you had to say. And sorry if you’ve addressed this already elsewhere and I missed it.
Thanks again for all the work on the new theme.
Cheers,
Erik
