Is there an easy way to change the bottom link unit ad which resides between the last sentence of the content and the tag – into a movable content unit?
I played with this on the Talian theme, but the Stallion is more intricate and you might know better. I understand you do not support hacking and tweaking and you have bigger fish to fry this week, but if there is an easy way to do this I am all ears.
That is, having three large rectangles one at the start of the content, one at the end and one above the footer. However, nothing on the sidebar. My thinking was people are blind a little to sidebar ads and more focus on the center line if your content is engaging. Nothing scientifically observed as again I do not have enough data to verify for sure. I need to set up some channels and test this hypothesis.
Perhaps having too many large rectangles uses up the higher paying ads or at least dilutes the clicks but again nothing tested.
I would be curious what other people experience with adSense set up and what is optimal in terms of placement and colors?
