The WordPress Menu Manager found on the Dashboard under “Appearance” >> “Menus” can be used to create custom menus that can be used with widgets, see Custom Menu Widget Tutorial and for creating custom navigation menus many WordPress Themes use. You can check if your WordPress theme includes support for custom WordPress navigation menus under “Appearance” >> “Menus” : “Manage Locations”. Most newer WordPress themes include support for WP Nav menu theme locations to replace the older style automated WordPress navigation menu: older themes would add all Static Pages to the navigation menu with limited options for customization. The link cloaking I’ve added to the Stallion Responsive Theme and Stallion WordPress SEO Theme is a very cool feature. Why Hide/Cloak Affiliate Links? There are two reasons to hide/cloak affiliate links (any link). 1. Hide the source of the link from your visitors so they don’t know they are about to go to an affiliate site AND so other affiliates can’t easily steal your affiliate links (apparently it’s a problem). 2. To protect a sites link benefit, Google does not want us linking to affiliate sites and other sites we don’t recommend. The Stallion Responsive theme and Stallion WordPress SEO theme includes titles for comments. You can see it in action in the comments below, there’s a form box with the comment called “Comment Title”). I’ve taken the Hikari Titled Comments Plugin and packaged it with the Stallion theme files (it installs under the “Stallion Theme” >> “Advanced SEO Options” page).
